Service Emphasis: Owner's Representation

South Shore Center is a phased redevelopment of a 600,000 square foot shopping center that sits at the south end of Park Street, on the island of Alameda, overlooking San Francisco Bay. The first phase of the project included a Trader Joe’s that opened to record sales, a Playa Picante Restaurant and a new grand entry to the shopping center. Subsequent phases include a new 58,000 square foot market and drug store, restaurants, a major book store, new shops and promenades. The design framework is drawn from the contextual architecture and is oriented around a shopping experience in a garden setting. Seasonal events and activities will take place on plazas that will be linked by pedestrian avenues lined with shops.
